Butterfly valves are designed for use as shut-off or regulating valves for controlling flows in heat supply systems, water supply systems, in technological processes of food, chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper and other industries. The valves are opened and closed by turning the disk by 90°. The triple eccentricity design reduces friction at the disk and seat contact points, which increases the reliability and service life of the gate. In this design, the stem is offset relative to the center axis of the disc and the center axis of the pipeline, and the sealing surfaces are asymmetrically shaped. The combination of the three displacements at the moment of pressing and opening of the sealing surfaces ensures complete absence of friction of the sealing surfaces, helping to minimize wear of the seat and seal during the entire service life of the gate.
Electric actuators explosion-proof with explosion protection marking 1ExdIIBT4 quarter-turn actuators (type of connection to the valve - according to ISO 5211) are used for control of pipeline shut-off valves in chemical, oil, gas and power industries. The actuators are designed for operation in the following modes:
- short-term mode S2 with the duration of switching on 15 minutes, with the frequency of switching on up to 60 times per hour, for operation in the automatic regulation mode not more than 600 switching on per hour;
- repeatedly - short-term mode S4 with the duration of switching on 50 minutes, with the frequency of switching on up to 1200 switching on per hour.
