Direct-acting pressure regulator PRA1030E-F-DA is designed for automatic regulation of the set characteristic in the pipeline. Pressure regulator “after itself” of direct action PRA1030E-F-DA is designed for automatic maintenance of the set pressure of the working medium before the object (after itself) by changing the flow rate. It is used in heat supply systems with working medium temperature not more than 150°C and nominal pressure not more than 1.6 MPa (16 bar). Maximum permissible pressure ratio P2/P1≥0.54.

The direct acting pressure regulator is a regulating device that uses the energy of the flowing medium to move the regulating body. The direct acting regulator is not a shut-off valve and operates only at a constant flow rate of the medium through the regulator.

The downstream pressure regulator PRA1030E-F-DA maintains the pressure at the valve outlet. Exceeding the set value causes the valve to close. If there is no pressure, the regulator will fully open, which is why it is also called “normally open”.

Product Operation.
The regulator is designed with a hermetic chamber divided into two cavities by a diaphragm. The central part of the diaphragm is rigidly connected to the valve stem, and the periphery - to the diaphragm box body. The elasticity of the diaphragm allows it to shift, moving the stem and the plug. Along the pulse line, one cavity of the diaphragm chamber is filled with medium while the other is open and filled with air at atmospheric pressure. As the pressure of the medium is higher than the atmospheric pressure, the diaphragm tends to bend and move the stem, but it is counteracted by the force of the compressed spring, which is directed in the opposite direction. The position of the plunger in the plug pair determines the balance of forces on the stem.

Connection to the pipeline is flanged with sealing surfaces B type 21 according to GOST 33259-3015.

The regulator is a regulating device that uses the energy of flowing medium to move the regulating body.

The regulator consists of three elements: valve, actuator, setpoint adjuster. The regulator valve is normally open in the absence of an impulse. The regulated pressure impulse is applied to the diaphragm on the housing side by a pulse line. A change in the regulated pressure above the set point set by the spring in the set point III causes the stem to move and the valve piston to open until the regulated pressure reaches the value set on the set point.
