The butterfly valve is designed to be used as a shut-off or regulating valve for flow control in heat supply systems, water supply, in technological processes of the food, chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper and other industries.
Operating principle: The valves are opened and closed by turning the disk by 90°. Opening is performed by turning the handle counterclockwise, closing - clockwise.
Elephant pneumatic rotary actuators double-acting PA-DA and pneumatic rotary actuators with return spring PA-SA are designed to automate the process of controlling industrial valves at a maximum torque of up to 2128 Nm.
The limit switch unit is an electrical device designed to open and close the working circuit and to visualize the positions of the shut-off element of pipeline valves. As a rule, a sealed box contains two mechanical switches rated for voltage up to 250 V, which track the position of the actuator stem and signal in extreme positions. They are mounted on top of the drive surface. In the upper part of the limit switch block there is a two-color hemisphere of the visual indicator. If the connected pipeline valve is closed, then only the red part of the hemisphere with the inscription CLOSED is visible; if open, only the yellow part with the inscription OPEN. This visual indicator is clearly visible from afar, which simplifies the inspection of the equipment, and the color difference between the open and closed positions reduces the likelihood of erroneous perception of information. Thanks to the use of the LSU, it becomes possible to transmit information about the position of the pipeline valve (open / closed) to automated control systems, which increases the reliability of the system as a whole and simplifies diagnostics when faults are detected.
A manual backup with a worm gear and a HDM reduction gear allows you to manually set the required positioning of the shut-off element by a quarter of a turn, acting as an alternative to pneumatic, electric or hydraulic quarter-turn drives. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. The modular design of the manual override is intended to provide the most efficient and effective solution to the entire range of manual override tasks
