Description

The gate valve is designed to be installed on the pipeline as a shut-off device and regulate the flow of medium in water supply systems (except drinking water supply systems) and chemical industry.

The principle of operation of the gate valve is to move the gate (knife) perpendicular to the flow of medium. When the diameter of the nominal bore of the pipeline is completely blocked, the flow is stopped, and when it is partially blocked, the flow is adjusted.

The principle of operation of the pneumatic actuator is based on the movement of the built-in piston due to compressed air, which is supplied to the system from a compressor or tank.
