Thermoregulators are designed for automatic temperature control (maintaining a user-defined temperature) in rooms equipped with "underfloor heating" cable heating systems. An integrated sensor is used to measure the indoor air temperature, based on the properties of bimetallic elements or gases that change shape or volume under the influence of the outside temperature. The operating principle of the thermostat is to close and open the electrical circuit when the set temperature is reached.
