Description

A condensate trap is designed to discharge condensate, air, and other non-condensable gases from a steam system, while retaining steam until it is fully condensed. The operating principle is based on the temperature difference between steam and condensate. Temperature changes cause the liquid inside a capsule connected to the discharge valve to boil/condense, allowing non-condensable gases and condensate below saturation temperature to be discharged.
