A wedge gate valve is intended for installation on pipelines (Water and other liquid and gaseous non-aggressive media, in relation to which the materials used in the valve are corrosion-resistant) as a shut-off device in automatic control systems for heat supply and water supply at industrial and civil facilities. br> It is connected to the pipeline using flanges (according to GOST 12817, version I, row 2 according to GOST 12815). Installation is carried out with the drive upward. Valves with electric drive are designed for operation in intermittent and short-term mode S2 in accordance with GOST 183-74 with an on-time (ON) of 15%. The electric drive is powered from an alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz.
