Description
Pressure reducing regulator Elephant PRA PSI 232 direct-acting, gray cast iron SCH20, flange connection is used to maintain a specified differential pressure between the supply and return piping of a process plant. In the absence of a signal (energy), the regulator valve is normally open. It is used in heat supply systems with a working medium temperature of no more than 302 °F and a nominal pressure of no more than 232 PSI. A direct-acting pressure regulator is a regulating device that uses the energy of a flowing medium to move the regulating element. The direct-acting regulator is not a shut-off valve and operates only with a constant flow of medium through the regulator.
