Butterfly valves are designed for use as shut-off or regulating valves for controlling flows in heat supply systems, water supply systems, in technological processes of food, chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper and other industries. The valves are opened and closed by turning the disk by 90°. The triple eccentricity design reduces friction at the disk and seat contact points, which increases the reliability and service life of the gate. In this design, the stem is offset relative to the center axis of the disc and the center axis of the pipeline, and the sealing surfaces are asymmetrically shaped. The combination of the three displacements at the moment of pressing and opening of the sealing surfaces ensures complete absence of friction of the sealing surfaces, contributing to minimization of wear of the seat and seal during the entire service life of the gate.
Electric actuators of GZ-OF(K) and GZ-OF(M) type of general purpose are used for control of industrial shut-off valves with quarter-turn shut-off valve and are installed indoors, under a canopy and outdoors. The actuator can operate in systems of automatic regulation of technological processes. Installation position of the actuator is any. The actuators are designed for operation in the following modes:
- short-term mode S2 with the duration of switching on 15 min, with the frequency of switching on up to 60 times per hour, for operation in the automatic regulation mode not more than 600 switching on per hour;
- repeatedly - short-term mode S4 with the duration of switching on 50min, with the frequency of switching on up to 1200 switching on per hour.
